Birthday Tumpeng (Singapore Nasi Lemak)

Singapore Nasi Lemak is pretty similar with Indonesian Nasi Uduk. The different is the "Sambal".
In Indonesia we don't serve the sambal separately, but it's mixed with tempe, fried peanut and anchovies.

However the Singapore Nasi Lemak and Indonesian Nasi Uduk have its unique taste, and both are delicious.

On 8th of April 2012, we made a Tumpeng, i.e.: Singapore Nasi Lemak (plus sambal egg/ telur balado) served and decorated just like Indonesian Nasi Tumpeng, for a birthday occasion :)

The dishes were fried chicken, fried peanut and anchovies, sambal belacan and Indonesian Telur Balado (sambal eggs). Decorated with carrot flowers, princess cake topper :)
